Rathore School caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties from 3 – 19 years old within the Newry and Down region. Our school vision aspires to nurture and develop a community of life-long learners. We strive to provide a safe, secure and fun learning environment in which we can inspire each pupil to thrive, grow and achieve their highest potential in life. Our pupils are at the heart of our school and our new school website will allow us to showcase their work and the activities they are involved in so that we can celebrate their wonderful achievements together as a community! - Lizzie Dixon Registered Manager has provided us with some information about their organisation. Mourne Grange is a supported living scheme near to Kilkeel and also offers a range of day opportunities.
- The staff of Rathore School have been working hard for the past week to prepare our classes for the safe return of our children and young people. We are really looking forward to seeing those familiar faces tomorrow as well as welcoming some new faces!
- PHA in association with the Home Accident Prevention Strategy in NI, have developed an animation to provide practical advice on what to do if your child chokes.
- Following a challenging school year in which we have been unable to meet face to face, we felt it was important to share that despite Covid-19, Rathore School has continued to be a fun and happy learning environment for all our children and young people.
