This is the perfect opportunity for pupils to read, or be read to, in a variety of ways, using a variety of different stories! Remember to have a look at our Facebook page for photos and videos of the activities taking place next week!
Here are some suggestions :
Make a reading fort at home and read a favourite story
Create or enjoy a sensory story
Design a reading corner/area
Show and tell, using stories about familiar objects or photographs
Create a story book using apps e.g. 'book creator' or craft materials
Create an alternative cover image for a familiar book or work together to make a picture
story telling using puppets or props
Read a story together outside (if it's not freezing!)
