World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and reading.
The purpose is to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to explore books and engage in a range of language and literacy activities which are appropriate to their age and level of development.
We are planning a full week of literacy activities in school next week but the highlight is World Book Day which will be held on Thursday 2nd March. To help us celebrate, your child is invited to attend school dressed as their favourite character from a much loved book! We are looking forward to seeing you all!
