Rathore School caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties from 3 – 19 years old within the Newry and Down region. Our school vision aspires to nurture and develop a community of life-long learners. We strive to provide a safe, secure and fun learning environment in which we can inspire each pupil to thrive, grow and achieve their highest potential in life. Our pupils are at the heart of our school and our new school website will allow us to showcase their work and the activities they are involved in so that we can celebrate their wonderful achievements together as a community! - Our Annual Review meetings will be commencing on week beginning 16th January 2023 and will be taking place until mid-term.
- Many children and young people will receive new devices and computer games for Christmas, but we’re asking parents, do you know what your child is doing online or most importantly, who they are talking to?
- Parents and guardians are being urged to be alert for the signs of group A streptococcal (GAS) infections by the Public Health Agency (PHA).
- Fantastic news!! We are absolutely delighted to have secured funding for an additional 5 places for parents of our children under 11 years old to take part in the wonderful Incredible Years programme!
