Rathore School caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties from 3 – 19 years old within the Newry and Down region. Our school vision aspires to nurture and develop a community of life-long learners. We strive to provide a safe, secure and fun learning environment in which we can inspire each pupil to thrive, grow and achieve their highest potential in life. Our pupils are at the heart of our school and our new school website will allow us to showcase their work and the activities they are involved in so that we can celebrate their wonderful achievements together as a community!   • Odd Sock Day is celebrated annually in November to mark Anti-Bullying Week and encourage people to celebrate each other’s differences.
  • We are inviting pupils to join us in our annual Halloween Hooley on Friday 28th October! Children can attend school in fancy dress and participate in a range of fun Halloween activities and games.
  • A huge thank you and well done to the entire Rathore School community for their food contribution at our Harvest Service which has kindly been donated to The Larder food bank in Newry.
  • We are please to share the following information with you .A sensory circuit is a form of sensory integration intervention. It involves a sequence of physical activities that are designed to alert, organise and calm the child.
